Proofpoint is seeking a Senior DevOps and Data Engineer to join the Data Platform team. This hybrid role blends platform engineering with data infrastructure, owning reliability, automation, and delivery of data pipelines.

You will build cloud infrastructure on AWS, CI/CD, and DevOps tooling to empower data teams to ship high-quality data products quickly and safely. You will design and operate data pipelines with AWS Glue, Athena, and S3, while contributing to observability, security, and

Formación

5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or site reliability with data engineering exposure.
Deep expertise with AWS core services (S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Lambda, ECS/EKS).
Hands-on experience with AWS data services: Glue, Athena, S3 lifecycle, encryption, event notifications.

Responsabilidades

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and promotion of data infrastructure.
Build and manage AWS-based cloud infrastructure using IaC tools (Terraform / CDK).
Own observability stack for data pipelines with metrics, logs, and alerts.
Develop self-service DataOps tooling and reusable pipeline templates.
Lead incident response for data platform outages and perform post-mortems.
