Job summary

Darwoft is recruiting a Senior Data Engineer to join a distributed team building data pipelines for education and nonprofit partners. You will own ingestion, CRM integrations, and the data warehouse, using BigQuery, dbt/Dataform, and Python to deliver reliable, scalable models and dashboards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on data engineering experience, ideally in a marketing or agency environment.
• Strong experience configuring datastreams, transformations, and destinations in Adverity or a comparable ETL platform.
• Intermediate to advanced SQL, with proven BigQuery experience in transformation, partitioning, and modeling.
• Expertise in dbt or Dataform, managing modular, version-controlled, documented SQL transformation pipelines.
• Python proficiency for custom API connections and pipeline automation.
• Experience with CRM data flows and integrations (Slate, Salesforce, and/or HubSpot).
• Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows, and proven ability to manage multi-client data environments with strict data segregation.

Responsibilities

• Own data ingestion and pipeline architecture, connecting API pipelines into Adverity and engineering scalable pipelines.
• Own CRM integration to ensure lead and enrollment data flows into the warehouse.
• Own the data warehouse in BigQuery, designing schemas and managing partitioning and storage strategy.
• Own transformation and mapping with modular, version-controlled pipelines (dbt/Dataform).
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines for releases and enforce data segregation across multi-client environments.
• Enable the reporting layer with Looker Studio dashboards and automated Google Sheets reports.
• Drive data quality by monitoring pipelines, testing, and flagging data quality risks.
