Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, with production-grade data systems.
• Strong Python and SQL proficiency; Scala/Java a plus.
• Experience with Spark, Delta Lake, and lakehouse architectures.
• AWS data services including S3, Glue, Athena, EventBridge, Firehose, Lambda.
• Data orchestration and warehousing tech like Airflow, Snowflake/Redshift/BigQuery.
• Real-time streaming with Kafka or Kinesis; dbt familiarity.
• DevOps/DataOps with Git, Docker, CI/CD, IaC; AWS/GCP.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain high-throughput batch and streaming data pipelines from diverse sources.
• Scale cloud data warehouse and lakehouse architectures for large data volumes.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Engineers, and Product Managers to translate requirements.
• Implement data quality frameworks, automated tests, monitoring, and alerts.
• Promote DataOps practices including CI/CD and IaC for data systems.
• Champion data governance, privacy, and security (GDPR/LGPD) across data platforms.
• Mentor junior/mid-level Data Engineers.
