AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Senior Cloud/DevOps Engineer to operate and improve cloud infrastructure behind an enterprise data platform in a regulated healthcare environment.

The role requires 5+ years in Cloud Engineering or SRE with AWS EKS, Kubernetes, Argo Workflows, and Terraform, and strong English communication. The position is 100% remote within LATAM for a Full-time Contractor, paying in USD, with perks focused on growth and flexible work arrangements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Cloud Engineering, DevOps or SRE.
• Hands-on AWS infrastructure experience in production.
• Advanced Kubernetes and EKS experience for workloads and reliability.
• Hands-on Argo Workflows administration and troubleshooting.
• Strong Terraform and IaC practices with source control.
• Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines and releases.
• Experience with monitoring and incident tools (Splunk, PagerDuty, Opsgenie).
• Lead incident resolution and perform root-cause analysis.
• Proficient in Python, Shell, or Bash scripting.
• Ability to make technical decisions and mentor engineers.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical ownership for Cloud/DevOps during LatAm coverage window.
• Operate and improve AWS infrastructure including EKS, S3, EventBridge, SQS, API Gateway, Lambda.
• Administer Kubernetes workloads and Argo Workflows with deployment, monitoring, and recovery.
• Define and improve IaC, CI/CD, release execution, and environment consistency.
• Improve observability and link alerts to runbooks across Argo, dbt, Snowflake.
• Enhance alert routing and escalation with Splunk, Opsgenie, PagerDuty and Teams.
• Lead incident response, root-cause analysis, and post-incident reviews.
• Design reliability improvements and automate repetitive tasks.
• Track service metrics: availability, SLA, alert volumes, deploy outcomes.
• Maintain HIPAA/GDPR/FDA-aligned change-control, access, and audit practices.
• Create runbooks, procedures, architecture context, and knowledge transfer materials.
• Mentor mid-level engineers and promote standardized practices.
• Participate in on-call rotations for critical incidents.
