AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to build and maintain backend services, automation workflows, and Salesforce API integrations for a GTM data platform. You will develop REST APIs and webhook-based lead routing, with AI-assisted sales automation, in an Agile sprint environment. 4+ years of backend experience with Salesforce or API integration is required.

The role emphasizes REST API work, CRM automation, and collaborating across modern tech stacks in a fully remote setup.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of backend engineering experience (Java OR Python).
• REST API integration and webhook development.
• CRM automation and lead routing systems.
• Familiarity with agile delivery and JIRA.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services and automation workflows (Java / Python / microservices).
• Develop and integrate with Salesforce APIs (EVO, Omnichannel, lead routing).
• Support AI SDR automation and webhook-based lead routing.
• Contribute to the GTM data platform codebase.
• Work in an agile sprint with a JIRA-based backlog.
