Job summary
AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to build and maintain backend services, automation workflows, and Salesforce API integrations that support a GTM data platform and AI-assisted sales initiatives. You will develop REST APIs and webhook-based lead routing, integrate with Evo/Omnichannel Salesforce APIs, and contribute to AI SDR automation within an Agile sprint using Java or Python.

Qualifications
- 4+ years of backend engineering experience with Java or Python.
- REST API integration and webhook development.
- Experience with CRM automation and lead routing systems.
- Familiarity with agile delivery and JIRA.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain backend services and automation workflows (Java / Python / microservices).
- Develop and integrate with Salesforce APIs (EVO, Omnichannel, lead assignment rules).
- Support AI SDR automation — including Ghost User setup, Calendly integration, webhook-based lead routing.
- Contribute to the GTM data platform codebase.
- Work within an Agile sprint process with a JIRA-based backlog (GTMDR project).
