Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own automation for desktop and mobile apps while performing manual validation. You will build regression tests, participate in CI/CD, and collaborate with product and engineering to ensure high quality across SDLC.

The role emphasizes testing AI-powered QA, leveraging Playwright for desktop/web, and Appium for mobile, with remote/hybrid work options and USD-based compensation.

Qualifications

4+ years in QA automation with hands-on manual testing.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
Experience testing Electron and React Native apps on iOS/Android.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments.
Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes.
Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria.
Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features.
