Job summary

AgileEngine is looking for an Automation QA Engineer with strong automation skills who also takes ownership of manual testing for our desktop and mobile applications. You will build and maintain test automation, run tests in CI/CD, and report defects clearly.

Requires 4+ years in QA automation, experience with Playwright or WebdriverIO, hands-on testing, and ability to work with product and development teams to improve quality across the SDLC.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation and manual/testing experience.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Hands‑on with Playwright (desktop/web) and WebdriverIO + Appium (mobile).
• Experience testing Electron/React Native apps on iOS/Android.
• Experience using AI tools in QA and evaluating AI outputs.

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts that support app functionality.
• Manually test software for validation and accuracy against criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, and performance tests.
• Record detailed documentation of feature behavior.
• Record pass/fail conditions and map failures to bugs.
• Collaborate with product teams to ensure quality across SDLC.
• Collaborate with customer-facing teams to incorporate feedback.
• Participate in refinement and estimations for planning.
• Utilize GitHub to maintain automation repos and run scripts.
• Participate in On-Call rotation.
