Job summary

Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer with strong automation skills who also takes ownership of manual testing for our desktop and mobile applications.

You will build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines to keep them fast and reliable.

The role requires hands‑on functional, exploratory, and regression testing, plus collaboration with developers and product teams on testability and acceptance criteria.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation with hands-on manual and exploratory testing.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (for example, GitHub Actions).
• Strong automation with Playwright for desktop/web and WebdriverIO or Appium for mobile.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
• Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments
• Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes
• Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria
• Perform hands‑on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features
• Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
