Job summary

Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines. You will investigate failures, fix flaky tests, manage data and environments, and collaborate with developers to ensure quality across the product lifecycle.

The role requires hands-on testing of Electron/React Native apps and leveraging AI tools in QA. Global teams offer remote work with flexible arrangements.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation with hands-on manual testing.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions.
• Hands-on with Playwright (desktop/web) and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.
• Experience testing Electron and React Native apps on iOS/Android.
• Experience using AI tools in QA; testing AI-powered apps is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts that support app functionality.
• Manually test software for validation and accuracy based on criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance and other testing types.
• Record detailed documentation of feature behavior and test outcomes.
• Collaborate with product and developers to ensure testability and acceptance criteria.
• Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing.
