Job summary

MAVI is seeking a Payroll Accountant to own payroll accounting and reconciliations for a high-growth US company, working remotely from Argentina. You will manage payroll entries, reconciliations, accruals, and multi-state tax filings with oversight from a Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager.

This fully remote, long-term role offers USD-denominated compensation and cross-border contract handling by MAVI.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting experience with payroll focus.
• Experience with month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Payroll accounting and payroll tax reconciliations experience.
• Exposure to US GAAP or Argentine/ IFRS with US clients.
• Proficient in English for daily collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Payroll entries, benefits, and payroll tax processing.
• Reconciliations of payroll registers and related costs.
• Accruals for bonuses, commissions, and PTO.
• Multi-state payroll support with providers.
• Complete close tasks with clear documentation.
