AgileEngine is looking for an Automation QA Engineer with strong automation skills and manual testing ownership for desktop and mobile apps. Build and maintain regression suites, integrate tests into CI/CD, and investigate failures with developers to ensure quality across the SDLC.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
• 3+ years of experience in automated testing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Mindset focused on holistic quality.
• Experience with Gherkin for BDD.
• Experience with prompt engineering and harness engineering.
• Experience building Agentic skills focused on Quality Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts that support app functionality.
• Manually test software for validation against criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance tests.
• Record detailed documentation of feature behavior.
• Record pass/fail conditions and correlate to bugs.
• Identify and elevate risks to product quality.
• Collaborate with the product team across SDLC and releases.
• Collaborate with customer-facing teams to apply user feedback in testing.
• Participate in refinement and effort estimation for planning.
• Use GitHub to maintain automation repos and scripts.
• Participate in On-Call rotation.
