Job summary

Tether is seeking a Technical Project Manager for Data Center initiatives with remote work flexibility. You will own client relationships, manage multi-workstream projects across planning, procurement, deployment and sign-off, and oversee datacenter operations including hardware, cabling, power, and cooling.

Lead onboarding, define scope, craft work orders, track SLAs, and coordinate with vendors. Strong leadership and ITSM tooling skills are essential for success in a fast-paced fintech

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in datacenter operations or related field.
• Direct client-facing experience in a technical role.
• Hands-on familiarity with server hardware, cabling, power, and cooling.
• Proficiency with ITSM/project tooling (Jira, ServiceNow, Zendesk).
• Experience owning project budgets, SOWs, or vendor POs.
• Proven ability to manage and develop a small technical team.
• Strong written and verbal communication; clear ticketing and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical point of contact for assigned client accounts thru project lifecycle.
• Lead onboarding, scoping calls, and technical review meetings.
• Translate client requirements into actionable work orders and tickets.
• Manage SLA commitments, report delivery status, and handle escalations.
• Own full ticket lifecycle in ITSM platforms; create/close tickets with documentation.
• Track multi-workstream projects across planning, procurement, deployment, and sign-off.
• Oversee datacenter ops: server rack/stack, cabling, power, cooling; on-site & remote hands.
• Coordinate with vendors on procurement, lead times, and RMA logistics.
• Ensure safety, change control, and access protocols; guide junior staff.
• Monitor budgets, flag overruns, and submit change orders; review vendor invoices.
• Maintain live project dashboards for clients and stakeholders.
