Job summary

World Business Lenders, LLC is seeking an Internal Audit Team Lead to supervise post-closing, lending compliance, and risk controls in a fully remote environment. You will oversee a pod of four analysts and report to the SVP of Internal Audit.

The role combines hands-on fieldwork with supervision, requiring strong English communication, adherence to audit methodology, and ability to meet deadlines across a multiregional team. A CIA certification and a bachelor’s degree are expected.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of internal audit experience.
• Hands-on audit testing and fieldwork required.
• Experience supervising staff and meeting deadlines independently.
• CIA certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop 4 Internal Audit Analysts.
• Review audit workpapers, testing, and reports to ensure consistency with methodology.
• Evaluate operational controls and compliance with lending policies.
• Draft, finalize, and present audit reports to the SVP and stakeholders.
• Oversee remediation tracking and validation of audit findings.
