World Business Lenders, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Internal Audit Analyst for Loan Operations, Post-Closing, and Compliance. The role conducts audits across the lending lifecycle, performs testing, data analysis, and risk assessments to evaluate internal controls and regulatory compliance in a fully remote setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field required.
• 1+ year of internal or external audit experience required.
• Ability to review detailed documents with high accuracy and consistency.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word; familiarity with loan systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits across the lending lifecycle including origination, servicing, closing, and post-closing.
• Review loan files, system data, and supporting documents for control effectiveness and compliance.
• Perform audit testing, data analysis, walkthroughs, and risk assessments.
• Carry out ad hoc investigations and special review projects as requested.
• Prepare audit work papers, findings, recommendations, and management reports.
• Validate management corrective actions and monitor remediation efforts.
