Job summary

Hire Hangar, Inc. seeks an experienced accounting professional to provide specialized Level 2 support for US accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll inquiries. The role demands genuine technical accounting judgment and the ability to independently investigate and resolve complex issues.

Coverage is 8:00 AM–8:00 PM ET with schedules staggered to align with US business hours. Remote work from Argentina is supported, requiring strong communication and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced tech

Qualifications

Professional accounting experience with exposure to US accounting and taxation.
Ability to handle complex tax and accounting inquiries for US customers.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
Experience in bookkeeping, payroll, tax notices, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

Provide specialized Level 2 support for complex US customer accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll inquiries.
Investigate and resolve escalated accounting and tax tickets.
Review and troubleshoot bookkeeping discrepancies, reconciliations, and transactions.
Assist customers with tax-related inquiries, notices, filing status questions, and tax return questions.
Support payroll questions, setup, processing issues, and troubleshooting.
Communicate findings clearly via Zendesk, email, and scheduled calls.
Document resolutions and maintain accurate customer records.
