Job summary

Hire Hangar, Inc. is seeking an experienced accounting professional to deliver specialized Level 2 support for complex US accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll inquiries. The role requires strong technical accounting judgment and the ability to independently investigate and resolve issues for diverse clients.

You will handle escalated tickets, review reconciliations, and communicate findings clearly using Zendesk, email, and scheduled calls. Remote work from Argentina is supported.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting experience with exposure to US accounting and taxation.
• Strong working knowledge of bookkeeping, tax return review, reconciliations, payroll, and financial reporting.
• Ability to explain complex accounting and tax topics to nontechnical customers.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication.
• Independent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized Level 2 support for complex US accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll inquiries.
• Investigate and resolve escalated accounting and tax tickets.
• Review and troubleshoot bookkeeping discrepancies, reconciliations, and accounting transactions.
• Assist customers with tax-related questions, notices, filing status, and tax return questions within scope.
• Support payroll questions, setup, processing issues, and troubleshooting.
• Document resolutions and maintain accurate customer records.
• Identify recurring issues and opportunities to improve workflows and knowledge resources.
