Job summary

Hire Hangar, Inc. is seeking an experienced Level 2 Tax & Accounting Support Specialist to handle complex US accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll inquiries from a remote Argentina-based team.

You will investigate escalated tickets, review reconciliations, assist with tax notices, and explain technical topics to nontechnical customers while working 8:00 AM–8:00 PM ET shifts. This role prefers CPA/EA credentials and strong English communication, with experience in Zendesk, QuickBooks, Excel,

Qualifications

Demonstrated professional accounting experience with exposure to US accounting and taxation.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Ability to investigate and resolve complex tax and accounting inquiries independently.
Experience handling tax notices and customer-facing financial support.

Responsibilities

Provide specialized Level 2 support for complex US accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll inquiries.
Investigate and resolve escalated and directly assigned accounting and tax tickets.
Review and troubleshoot bookkeeping discrepancies, reconciliations, and transactions.
Explain complex accounting topics to nontechnical customers; maintain accurate records.
