Newsela is seeking a remote Contractor: Lead Analytics Engineer to shape our data ecosystem from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, or Costa Rica. You’ll work with SQL, Python, Terraform, AWS and GCP to expand the data warehouse and deliver analytics at scale.

You will implement robust pipelines, apply software engineering practices to analytics code, and collaborate with stakeholders to define business logic, surfacing insights that influence decisions across the organization.

Formación

• 8+ years of data experience in a software environment.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python with data catalog tooling and data integrity testing frameworks.
• Experience with dbt orchestration and best practices.

Responsabilidades

• Data quality testing and automated data validation for ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define business logic and surface insights to drive data-driven decisions.
• Build automation for data infrastructure and manage large-scale migrations.
