Job summary

The HR Generalist provides comprehensive human resources support for employees and managers across the United States and Puerto Rico. This role serves as a trusted HR partner, supporting employee relations, talent management, compliance, HR operations, and performance management.

The HR Generalist will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, including Puerto Rico employment law, while maintaining confidentiality and delivering training and policy updates to managers and staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years of progressive HR experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. federal, state, and local laws; Puerto Rico employment laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on policies and procedures and resolve workplace concerns.
• Conduct investigations with legal counsel as needed.
• Support visa and immigration coordination for employees.
• Manage performance management and organizational changes.
• Maintain and update employee handbooks, policies, and procedures.
• Deliver trainings on leadership, policy compliance, and HR topics.
• Identify and implement process improvements in HR operations.
• Foster a positive, inclusive work environment and maintain confidentiality.
