Job summary

Virtustant is seeking a Procurement & B2B Sales Specialist to source from Chinese suppliers and identify buyers for excess inventory in the food and functional ingredients sector. The role combines procurement with outbound sales and requires independent problem-solving and strong communication.

You will work part-time remotely with flexible hours across global time zones. Proficiency with Alibaba, Google Sheets, and LinkedIn is a plus. English fluency is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Comfortable interfacing with international suppliers and buyers.
• Able to research independently and identify opportunities.
• Skilled at negotiating pricing and terms.
• Willing to make outbound calls and initiate conversations.
• Detail-oriented with good judgment and problem-solving.
• Proficient with Google Sheets and basic business tools.
• Willing to work during Chinese business hours.

Responsibilities

• Research and identify potential suppliers, mainly on Alibaba.
• Source commodities and related products from Chinese manufacturers.
• Collect pricing, MOQs, and lead times from suppliers.
• Communicate with suppliers via email and WhatsApp.
• Negotiate pricing, quantities, timelines and terms.
• Organize supplier data and quotes in Google Sheets.
• Present options to management for approval.
• Coordinate with suppliers to keep purchases moving.
• Identify and reach out to potential buyers via multiple channels.
• Develop repeat customer relationships and explore new channels.
