MAVI is seeking a Senior Accountant to own the monthly close and core financial reporting for a high-growth US company. You will work remotely from Peru, handling journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements under US GAAP with direct collaboration with US finance leadership.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of accounting experience, strong Excel/Sheets skills, and familiarity with major ERPs like QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or Xero.

Qualifications

• Fluent written and spoken English for daily work with US teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent professional qualification).
• 5+ years of accounting experience with ownership of month-end close and US GAAP/IFRS exposure.

Responsabilités

• Own the monthly close for one or more entities, including deadlines and output quality.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepaids, and fixed asset schedules; maintain clean reconciliations.
• Prepare P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow support under US GAAP; explain material movements to leadership.
• Maintain audit readiness with documentation and PBC schedules for auditors to follow.
• Drive process improvements in close checklists, SOPs, and recurring workflows, including AI/automation opportunities.
