Greenhouse Software is seeking an experienced software engineer for a 12-month independent contractor role in Argentina, via Deel. You will build and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails and React, writing tests and collaborating with a distributed US & Canada team.

Formación

• 2+ years of production code experience (required).
• Experience contributing to projects and driving them to completion (required).
• Experience with Ruby, C#, Java, or Python (Ruby preferred).
• Direct experience with AI and agentic software development (Claude code, Codex, etc).
• Proficient understanding of Javascript or Typescript, including React.

Responsabilidades

• Build, modify, and maintain features with Ruby on Rails and React.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code aligned with architectural standards.
• Maintain RESTful APIs and update PostgreSQL data models.
• Write unit and integration tests (RSpec, Jest) for stability.
• Collaborate with engineers through code reviews and standups.
• Participate in a shared support rotation to diagnose and resolve issues.
