AgileEngine is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to design and scale a platform used by enterprise procurement teams. This role blends frontend and backend ownership, working across React and Ruby on Rails to turn wireframes into production features.

You'll collaborate closely with product, data science, and design to solve complex, ambiguous problems as part of a growing engineering team. You will work on scalable architectures, participate in an on‑call rotation, and contribute to

Qualifications

• 3+ years building web apps with Rails, Entity, Spring, or similar MVC.
• 3+ years SQL experience with ANSI-relational databases (Postgres/RDS).
• 3+ years HTML/CSS for web UI.
• 3+ years turning wireframes into production features.
• Experience with agile development and adapting to changing requirements.
• Strong interpersonal skills, strategic mindset, and proactive teamwork; leadership is a plus.
• Performance mindset for client/server optimization.
• Experience using Git with GitHub.
• Experience in fast-paced environments with on-call rotations and documented SLAs/SLOs/RPOs/RTOs.

Responsibilities

• Drive innovation and build scalable solutions.
• Work with Product Management and Staff Tech Leads to estimate and commit.
• Implement best practices, methodologies, and tools to optimize the development process and increase efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including senior leadership, to provide updates on project status, risks, and issues.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation.
