AgileEngine is seeking a Sr. Full-Stack Software Engineer for a remote contractor role. You will design and scale a platform used by enterprise procurement teams, working across React and Ruby on Rails to turn wireframes into production features.

You will collaborate with product, data science, and design to solve complex problems in a growing team. The role emphasizes front-end and back-end ownership, agile development, and a proactive approach to drive team success.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience building web applications using Rails or similar MVC framework.
• 3+ years of SQL database experience (Postgres, RDS).
• 3+ years of HTML/CSS experience and UI styling.
• 3+ years turning wireframes into production features.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and adapting to changing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Drive innovation and build scalable solutions.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Tech Leads to estimate and commit.
• Implement best practices to optimize development processes.
• Communicate project status and risks to stakeholders.
• Participate in an on-call rotation.
