Job summary
FullStack is seeking Forward Deployed Engineers to embed with enterprise teams, building AI solutions from discovery to production. You’ll act as consultant, operator, and engineer, designing data-driven, retrieval-focused architectures for regulated industries and Fortune 500 clients.
You’ll run client workshops, map processes to specifications, and ship end-to-end agentic systems. This is a fully remote, full-time role with opportunities to influence architecture and delivery and to grow
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with at least one mainstream production stack.
- 1-4 years of professional experience shipping agentic AI solutions, LLM workflows, and RAG architectures.
- Advanced English is required.
- Successful completion of a four-year college degree is required.
- Hands-on experience with frontier AI developer tools including Cursor, Claude Code, Gemini CLI, or OpenAI Codex.
Responsibilities
- Discover. Run workshops and process discovery with business, data, and engineering stakeholders.
- Assess data readiness honestly and separate genuine AI problems from workflow problems wearing an AI costume.
- Structure the process and the spec. Map current state, decisions, data inputs, and exceptions, then turn into executable specs.
- Architect & design end-to-end agentic systems with emphasis on context and retrieval architecture.
- Build working systems — agents, retrieval services, evaluation tooling, and data flows.
- Engineer the delivery system. Own CI/CD for what you build, extended to AI: prompt/versioning, eval suites, and gated releases.
- Operate (Day 2). Monitor retrieval metrics, observability, cost and latency, drift, and handoff to client teams.
