Job summary

FullStack is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with enterprise teams, identifying AI opportunities, architecting systems, and delivering production-ready solutions. You’ll work across consultants, operators, and engineers to ensure AI projects align with client needs and constraints.

You will lead discovery conversations, design retrieval- and data-driven architectures, and own end-to-end delivery from scoping to deployment in regulated environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software development across production stacks.
• 1-4 years shipping agentic AI solutions, LLM workflows, and RAG architectures.
• Advanced English required.
• Four-year college degree required.
• Hands-on experience with frontier AI developer tools: Cursor, Claude Code, Gemini CLI, OpenAI Codex.

Responsibilities

• Discover. Run workshops with business, data, and engineering stakeholders.
• Structure the process and the spec: map decision points, data inputs, and exceptions.
• Architect & design end-to-end agentic systems focused on context and retrieval architecture.
• Build working systems: agents, retrieval services, evaluation tooling, data flows.
• Engineer the delivery system: CI/CD for AI, prompts and versioning, eval suites.
• Operate Day 2: eval harnesses, observability, cost management, drift, handoff to client team.
• Consult: defend decisions to CTOs/VPs and support pre-sales scoping.
