Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer to build and operate cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and observability for Data & AI teams in a PCI-compliant environment. You will own automation, scale production systems, and collaborate across distributed teams.

Responsibilities include designing IaC with Terraform or Pulumi, running Kubernetes clusters (EKS/AKS/GKE), maintaining security controls, and driving reliability through on‑call rotations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in DevOps/SRE/platform engineering for production.
• 3+ years building CI/CD pipelines and IaC.
• Kubernetes and container tooling proficiency (EKS/AKS/GKE, Docker).
• Scripting in Python, Bash, or Go; SQL and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Observability stacks installation and ops (Prometheus/ Grafana/ OpenTelemetry).
• Cloud security and PCI compliance awareness.
• Strong communication and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Strategy, roadmap & vision for DevOps and observability in Data & AI teams.
• Design and build cloud infrastructure as code with Terraform or Pulumi.
• Own CI/CD pipelines — building, testing, securing, and deploying (blue‑green/canary).
• Operate Kubernetes clusters and container workloads with Helm/ArgoCD/Flux.
• Build observability dashboards and alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Datadog).
• Implement security controls and PCI‑aware patterns.
• Lead on-call and post‑mortems to reduce MTTR and toil.
• Collaborate with developers on internal tooling and developer self‑service.
