AgileEngine is seeking a skilled Database Administrator to manage, secure, and tune high-availability production databases, collaborating closely with engineering teams. This hands-on role requires 3–4 years of DBA experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Aurora PostgreSQL, plus AWS RDS/Aurora, Terraform, and Kafka, with an upper-intermediate English level.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of hands-on DBA experience.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Aurora PostgreSQL.
• AWS RDS and Aurora experience.
• Programming with PowerShell or Python.
• IaC tools such as Terraform.
• Kafka (Confluent Kafka) administration and troubleshooting.
• Performance analysis and tuning expertise.
• Experience with high-availability production systems.
• Disaster recovery experience.
• Upper-intermediate English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high availability of production database systems.
• Plan and carry out disaster recovery with zero data loss.
• Keep databases secure, including access control and security protocols.
• Analyze and tune database performance and diagnose issues.
• Work closely with engineers on design, performance tuning and support.
• Operate hands-on in a highly technical environment.
• Stay composed under pressure in stressful situations.
