AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Data Engineer to own ETL pipelines that power analytics for colleges and universities. You will design and maintain data workflows using SQL, Python, and Apache Airflow, moving data into a cloud data warehouse.

You will customize shared pipelines for clients while keeping code clean. You will design and extend data models, monitor production jobs, and contribute to modernization efforts, collaborating with client teams and stakeholders.

Formación

• 3–4 years of experience in data engineering or related software role.
• Strong SQL with complex joins, window functions, and star-schema modeling.
• Hands-on Apache Airflow experience (DAGs, operators, scheduling).
• Working knowledge of ETL patterns and cloud data warehouse design (Redshift or similar).
• Git and GitLab/GitHub for version control.
• Docker / Docker Compose and data management concepts.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines across dev, staging, and prod.
• Extend data models and datasets to support analytics and reporting.
• Adapt shared pipelines for individual clients with clean, reusable code.
• Monitor production pipelines, investigate failures, and fix issues.
• Write and maintain database DDL, data validation queries, and deployment scripts.
• Contribute to platform modernization and new data technologies.
• Collaborate with client teams, analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements.
