AgileEngine is seeking a Data Engineer to own ETL pipelines powering analytics for colleges and universities. You will design and maintain data workflows using SQL, Python, and Airflow, moving data into a cloud data warehouse and adapting pipelines for individual clients while keeping code clean and reusable.

Formación

• 3–4 years in data engineering or related software role.
• Strong SQL skills with complex joins and window functions.
• Hands-on Apache Airflow experience.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses (Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery, Synapse).
• Git/GitLab or GitHub for version control.
• Docker / Docker Compose experience.
• Ability to translate client needs into SQL and DAG changes.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines across environments (development, staging, and production).
• Extend data models and datasets to support analytical and reporting needs.
• Adapt and customize shared data pipelines for individual clients while keeping code reusable.
• Monitor production data pipelines, investigate failures, and deliver fixes promptly.
• Write and maintain database DDL, data validation queries, and deployment scripts.
• Contribute to platform modernization initiatives, including infra upgrades and new data tech.
• Collaborate with client teams, analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
