Community Sports Partners seeks a Head of Finance to lead all financial aspects of a growing, multi-entity organization. You will partner with the CEO to drive profitability, scale operations, and manage capital projects and M&A initiatives across locations in the US and Canada.

You will build robust financial models, dashboards, and reporting to guide strategic decisions, oversee treasury and financing, and lead a high-performing finance team through rapid growth and seasonal dynamics.

Formación

• 5–10+ years in senior finance leadership roles (Head of Finance/VP Finance/Controller) with expanding scope.
• Experience in multi-location, multi-entity, seasonal businesses (sports/fitness/hospitality/retail a plus).
• Proven track record partnering with CEO/executive team on growth, acquisitions, and capital projects.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with the CEO and executive team to develop and execute long-term strategic plans for multi-location growth.
• Translate business plans into integrated financial models, budgets, forecasts, and KPIs across entities.
• Lead enterprise-level financial modeling, scenario analysis, and ROI evaluation for new facilities, pricing, and marketing spend.
• Oversee accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting across multiple entities and ensure compliance.
• Develop dashboards linking operations KPIs to financial outcomes and manage relationships with external investors.

We are seeking a strategic Head of Finance to lead all financial aspects of a growing, multi-entity organization. This role is ideal for a CFO who thrives in competitive environments, balances strategy with execution, and has a proven ability to drive profitability, scale operations, and support complex growth initiatives including M&A, capital projects, and international operations.

The CFO will join the executive team—providing insight, structure, and financial discipline while enabling growth.

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Partner with the CEO and executive team to develop and execute long-term strategic plans, including growth initiatives, acquisitions, and operational scaling.
• Translate business plans into integrated financial models, budgets, forecasts, and KPIs tailored to multi-location and seasonal operations.
• Lead enterprise-level financial modeling, scenario analysis, and ROI evaluation to support data-driven decision-making.
• Provide scenario analysis and ROI modeling for:
• New facility launches
• Program and pricing decisions
• Marketing spend and customer acquisition
• Staffing and capacity planning

Financial Operations & Performance

• Oversee all accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities across multiple entities.
• Ensure financial and operational compliance.
• Implement proactive cost management and margin improvement initiatives to drive sustained profitability.
• Develop dashboards and performance reporting that connect operational KPIs to financial outcomes.
• Manage relationships with external investors.
• Secure and manage financing for growth initiatives and capital projects.
• Oversee treasury functions including cash flow forecasting, working capital optimization, debt restructuring, and FX strategy (as applicable).

Systems, Process & Scale

• Build scalable financial systems and processes.
• Improve accuracy, efficiency, and insight through automation and streamlined workflows.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Build, lead, and mentor high-performing finance team.
• Act as a trusted financial advisor to internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Communicate complex financial insights clearly to non-financial leaders.

Experience

• 5-10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, including senior roles such as Head of Finance, VP Finance, or Controller with expanding scope
• Experience operating in a multi-location, multi-entity, and/or seasonal business (sports, fitness, hospitality, franchise, or retail industries a strong plus)
• Demonstrated experience partnering directly with a CEO or executive team on strategic planning, growth initiatives, and operational scaling
• Track record leading M&A activity, due diligence, or post-acquisition integration
• Experience securing and managing financing (debt, equity, or growth capital) and managing relationships with investors or lenders
• Hands‑on treasury experience, including cash flow forecasting, working capital management, and debt structuring
• Experience implementing or upgrading financial systems, ERPs, or reporting infrastructure to support a scaling organization
• Proven experience building, leading, and developing a finance team

Skills & Competencies

• Advanced financial modeling, scenario planning, and ROI/business case analysis skills
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to connect operational KPIs to financial performance
• Deep understanding of GAAP, financial compliance, and multi-entity consolidation
• Proficiency with financial planning and reporting tools (advanced Excel required; experience with BI/dashboard tools a plus)
• Excellent executive communication skills — able to translate complex financial concepts for non-financial stakeholders and external partners
• Strong leadership, mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, growth-stage environment with evolving priorities

Compensation: Competitive based on experience
