Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Commercial Lead for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin. This role drives the commercial strategy, engages with key operators, and oversees the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation.

The candidate will coordinate with operations, engineering, and product lines to ensure service excellence, while identifying cross-sell opportunities across wells components and systems.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of Directional Drilling, MWD/LWD, motors, RSS, or BHA optimization.
• Strong understanding of wellbore data interpretation and drilling KPIs.
• Experience with operators in shale basins and ability to influence engineering/procurement stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage technical sales cycles and present commercial value.

Responsibilities

• Developing and executing the commercial strategy for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin.
• Managing the full sales cycle: prospecting, technical scoping, pricing, proposals, and contract negotiation.
• Building and maintaining relationships with operators and drilling contractors.
• Delivering technical presentations and post-well analyses to demonstrate service value.
• Collaborating with operations, engineering, and product lines to ensure service quality and customer satisfaction.
• Identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities across bits, fluids, motors, MWD/LWD, RSS.
• Supporting tender submissions, commercial models, and contract renewals.
• Maintaining accurate opportunity pipelines, forecasts, and customer intelligence in CRM.
• Ensuring compliance with local HSE requirements and company standards.
