Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Commercial Lead for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin. You will own the commercial strategy, lead the full sales cycle, and build partnerships with operators and contractors to deliver high‑value solutions.

The role requires deep technical knowledge of drilling systems and data interpretation, plus strong communication to translate technical value into business outcomes. Office-based with global support.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Directional Drilling, MWD/LWD, motors, RSS, or BHA optimization.
• Deep understanding of wellbore data interpretation and drilling KPIs.
• Experience with operators in shale basins such as Vaca Muerta.
• Proven ability to manage technical sales cycles and influence stakeholders.
• Excellent communication translating technical concepts into commercial value.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the commercial strategy for Directional Drilling Services in Vaca Muerta.
• Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, scoping, pricing, proposals, contracts.
• Build relationships with operators and drilling contractors to maximize value.
• Deliver technical presentations and post-well analyses to demonstrate service value.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering and product lines to ensure service quality.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities across bits, fluids, motors, MWD/LWD, RSS.
• Support tender submissions, commercial models and contract renewals.
• Maintain accurate pipelines, forecasts and customer intelligence in CRM.
• Ensure compliance with local HSE and company standards.
