Political Asylum Lawyers, a Houston-based immigration law firm, seeks a client-facing professional who will be the primary contact for clients, engaging them daily in English and Spanish to respond to inquiries and collect documents. You will keep case development on track, follow workflows, coordinate with attorneys and paralegals, and adapt to evolving procedures in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Spanish and English
• Experience preparing immigration applications preferred but not required
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Empathetic and able to communicate under significant stress
• Organized, detail-oriented, able to work with minimal supervision
• Tech-focused and eager to learn new online systems and procedures

Responsibilities

• Serve as the firm’s main point of contact with clients, supporting attorneys and paralegals
• Return phone calls and reply to emails from clients and potential clients
• Proactively provide status updates to keep clients informed
• Coordinate case logistics: scheduling appointments and reminders
• Maintain tracking systems to catch clients before they fall through the cracks
• Contribute to development and improvement of company protocols and processes
