AgileEngine is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own desktop and mobile automation alongside hands-on manual testing. The role focuses on building robust regression suites, maintaining tests in CI/CD, and driving testability with developers and product teams.

You will work on modern E2E test strategies across desktop and mobile apps, including real devices. This role offers flexible scheduling with remote and office options and a strong emphasis on AI-assisted QA approaches.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation.
• 4+ years of automated testing experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Holistic quality mindset.
• Experience writing and using Gherkin for BDD.
• Experience with prompt engineering and harness engineering.
• Experience building Agentic skills focused on Quality Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts for app functionality.
• Manual testing for validation based on criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, and other testing types.
• Document feature behavior in detail.
• Record pass/fail conditions and map to bugs.
• Identify risks to product quality and process.
• Collaborate with product teams during SDLC and releases.
• Incorporate user feedback into testing strategies.
• Estimate effort during refinement.
• Use GitHub to manage automation repos and scripts.
• Participate in On-Call rotations.
