Job summary

AgileEngine, a leading software firm, seeks an Automation QA Engineer to own desktop and mobile test automation while also handling manual testing. You will integrate tests into CI/CD, investigate failures, and ensure robust quality throughout development.

You will collaborate with product and customer teams, refine testing strategies, and contribute to high-quality releases across desktop and mobile apps. Strong AI tool experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation plus manual/exploratory testing.
• CI/CD testing experience (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on with Playwright for desktop/web and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.
• Experience testing Electron and/or React Native apps on iOS/Android.
• Experience using AI tools in QA; testing AI-powered apps is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain desktop/mobile test automation for critical user flows.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, keeping them fast and reliable.
• Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, manage test data and environments.
• Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes.
• Work with developers on testability and acceptance criteria.
• Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing.
• Choose manual vs automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
