Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer with strong automation skills and a hands-on approach to manual testing for desktop and mobile apps. You will build and maintain regression tests, integrate with CI/CD (GitHub Actions), and collaborate across product and engineering to improve testability and acceptance criteria.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in QA automation, experience with Playwright and WebdriverIO, and familiarity with AI-assisted QA tools.

• 3+ years of experience in automated testing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Mindset focused on holistic quality.
• Experience writing and working with Gherkin for BDD.
• Experience with prompt engineering and harness engineering.
• Experience building Agentic skills focused on Quality Engineering.

Mansioni

• Build regression automation scripts that support app functionality.
• Manually test software for validation and accuracy based on criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration and performance testing.
• Record detailed documentation of feature behavior.
• Record pass/fail conditions and link failures to bugs.
• Identify and elevate quality risks to product or process.
• Collaborate with product to ensure quality through SDLC and releases.
• Collaborate with customer-facing teams to incorporate feedback.
• Participate in refinement and effort estimations.
