HireHawk Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant for a long-term remote position.

You will support the finance team with data entry, transaction processing, and administrative accounting tasks from a remote setup, collaborating with US-based colleagues in English and Mexican stakeholders in Spanish. The role focuses on accurate bookkeeping, vendor and customer transactions, and maintaining orderly records.

Formación

• 2–5 years of accounting assistant or related experience.
• Proficient in English and Spanish.
• Experience with AP/AR, data entry and Excel.
• Experience supporting a US-based team.
• Familiarity with remote work environments.

Responsabilidades

• Enter Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions accurately into the accounting system.
• Process invoices, vendor bills, customer payments, and credit memos.
• Assist with invoice matching and supporting documentation.
• Maintain organized electronic accounting records and filing systems.
• Update spreadsheets and reconcile transaction listings with supporting documents.
• Assist with basic bank and account reconciliations by preparing supporting information.
• Review transactions for completeness and flag missing or inconsistent information.
• Support month-end activities by preparing schedules and gathering required documentation.
• Communicate with US team members in English and Mexican stakeholders in Spanish on routine matters.
• Follow established accounting procedures and maintain accuracy in a remote desktop environment.
• Perform other administrative and data entry tasks to support the finance team.
