Job summary

WSP is seeking a Software Asset Management Specialist to join its regional team and drive licensing decisions across Latin America and other international regions. You will collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance and Engineering to manage licensing requests, track entitlements, renewals and optimization opportunities in a high-volume, multi-publisher environment.

The role requires strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to licensing details, and fluency in English and Spanish to engage

Qualifications

• Hands-on SAM with licensing and ITAM responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of licensing models (node-locked, concurrent, named-user, cloud/SaaS).
• Experience across a broad software portfolio from multiple publishers.
• Knowledge of entitlements, renewals, license utilization, compliance and audits.
• Ability to prioritize in a high-volume environment and collaborate with regional/global stakeholders.
• Advanced English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Manage software licensing requests across the full lifecycle, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
• Interpret licensing terms, metrics and entitlements across multiple publishers and licensing models.
• Maintain accurate software asset and entitlement records, including purchasing and licensing information.
• Coordinate renewals, assignments, reallocations and software optimization activities.
• Support license compliance, audits and reporting, identifying opportunities to improve software utilization and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, Engineering teams and external vendors to resolve licensing needs and escalations.
• Manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment while contributing to continuous improvement of SAM processes.
