Job summary

WSP is seeking a Software Asset Management Specialist to manage software licensing across Latin America and other regions. You will handle licensing requests, entitlements, renewals, and optimization, coordinating with IT, Procurement, Finance and engineers.

The role requires hands-on SAM experience, strong licensing knowledge, and fluency in English and Spanish, with the ability to navigate a high-volume, multi-publisher environment and support compliance and audits.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SAM, software licensing or ITAM with significant SAM responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of licensing models including node-locked, concurrent/floating, named-user and cloud/SaaS.
• Experience managing a broad software portfolio across multiple publishers and licensing conditions.
• Practical experience with entitlements, renewals, license utilization, compliance, optimization and audits.
• Ability to manage high volumes and prioritize time-sensitive requests across publishers.
• Advanced English and Spanish; collaboration with regional and global stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage software licensing requests across full lifecycle, ensuring accurate processing.
• Interpret licensing terms, metrics and entitlements across publishers and licensing models.
• Maintain accurate software asset and entitlement records including purchasing data.
• Coordinate renewals, reallocations and optimization activities.
• Support license compliance, audits and reporting; identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, Engineering and vendors to resolve licensing needs.
