Job summary

WSP is seeking a Software Asset Management Specialist to join a global SAM team and manage licensing across Latin America and other regions. You will work with IT, Procurement, Finance and Engineering to ensure accurate licensing decisions, timely service delivery, compliance and optimization.

The role requires hands-on licensing experience in a multi-vendor environment, knowledge of various licensing models, and strong English and Spanish communication with regional and global stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SAM experience with software licensing and IT asset management responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of licensing models (node-locked, concurrent/floating, named-user, cloud/SaaS).
• Experience managing a broad software portfolio across multiple publishers.
• Experience with entitlements, renewals, license utilization, compliance, optimization and/or audits.

Responsibilities

• Manage software licensing requests across full lifecycle with accuracy.
• Interpret licensing terms and entitlements across publishers.
• Maintain software asset and entitlement records including purchasing/licensing.
• Coordinate renewals, reallocations and optimization activities.
• Support license compliance, audits, and reporting to improve utilization and costs.
• Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance and Engineering to resolve licensing needs.
• Balance competing priorities in a high-volume environment and drive process improvements.
