Job summary

WSP is seeking a Software Asset Management Specialist to support a large software portfolio across Latin America and other regions. You will collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance and engineering teams to ensure accurate licensing, compliance and cost optimization.

You will interpret licensing terms, manage entitlements and renewals, and drive efficiency across a multi-publisher environment while maintaining meticulous asset records and stakeholder communications.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SAM or ITAM experience with significant responsibilities.
• Understanding of licensing models: node-locked, concurrent/floating, named-user, cloud/SaaS.

Responsibilities

• Manage software licensing requests across the full lifecycle, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
• Interpret licensing terms, metrics and entitlements across multiple publishers and licensing models.
• Maintain accurate software asset and entitlement records, including purchasing and licensing information.
• Coordinate renewals, assignments, reallocations and software optimization activities.
• Support license compliance, audits and reporting, identifying opportunities to improve software utilization and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, Engineering teams and external vendors to resolve licensing needs and escalations.
• Manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment while contributing to continuous improvement of SAM processes.
