Sagan Recruitment is hiring a remote Recruiter (independent contractor) to source, screen, and engage candidates globally, with a strong preference for South Africa. The role involves presenting opportunities, maintaining a healthy pipeline, and moving candidates through the hiring process efficiently.

The base salary is 1,500 USD per month plus 500 USD commission per hire, with a target of at least five hires per month, and a remote, contract-based arrangement.

POSITION: Recruiter Location: Remote (South Africa Strongly Preferred - GLOBALLY) Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (CST) Compensation: 1500 USD/month base salary + $500 USD commission per hire Note: Independent contractor position.

• Conduct initial phone screens to evaluate experience, communication skills, availability, motivation, and overall fit.
• Present the company and its opportunities in a persuasive and engaging way.
• Build excitement among active, passive, and hesitant candidates.
• Address candidate concerns and overcome objections professionally.
• Convert qualified prospects into engaged applicants.
• Schedule qualified candidates for phone screens with the internal hiring team.
• Maintain a consistent, high-volume pipeline of prospective candidates.
• Follow up promptly with candidates throughout the early stages of the hiring process.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and pipeline updates.
• Track sourcing activity, screening volume, candidate progress, and hiring outcomes.
• Work toward a minimum target of five successful hires per month.
• Monitor screen-to-hire conversion rates and adjust outreach or screening approaches as needed.
• Communicate frequently with the internal team regarding candidate progress, pipeline quality, and recruiting results.
• Move quickly while maintaining a positive and professional candidate experience.
