GlobalLogic is seeking a QA Lead / QA Automation Lead to drive manual and automated testing across the SDLC for complex financial services integrations. Qualifications

• Hands-on with test execution while mentoring QA teams.
• Strong understanding of QA practices across the SDLC.
• Experience defining and executing functional, integration, API, UI, end-to-end, regression, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar automation frameworks.
• Experience with CI/CD integration, test planning, defect management, release readiness, and quality metrics.
• Strong Root Cause Analysis skills for critical defects.
• Excellent English communication and stakeholder management with challenging clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA team and participate in manual and automated testing across the SDLC.
• Define and implement the overall QA and Test Automation Strategy, assess current test suites and determine reuse, enhancement, refactor, replacement, or new automation.
• Develop and maintain a phased automation roadmap, prioritizing tests based on risk, value, coverage, and maintainability.
• Plan and execute all testing activities: functional, integration, API, UI, end-to-end, regression, smoke, sanity, exploratory.
• Lead the implementation and evolution of automated tests using Playwright or similar frameworks.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentor QA team members while remaining hands-on when required.
• Lead defect triage and Root Cause Analysis for critical defects.
• Communicate quality status, risks, and release readiness to stakeholders and the client with clear reports.
• Manage difficult stakeholders, negotiate priorities, and handle challenging conversations effectively.
• Drive continuous improvement of QA processes, test coverage, automation, and product quality.
