Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in software testing (manual and automation), with a strong focus on Selenium WebDriver/Playwright and C#.
• Strong experience developing using object‑oriented code
• Proven experience designing and maintaining automation frameworks at scale.
• Strong command of SQL, including writing and optimizing queries, and understanding of complex schemas and stored procedures.
• Ability to work independently in a senior/lead capacity without direct supervision.
• Deep understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in web‑based application testing.
• Hands‑on experience using AI tools (LLM‑based assistants, AI coding/testing tools) in daily QA work, with the judgment to validate and correct their output.
• Excellent debugging and analytical skills.
• Clear, effective communication skills with technical and non‑technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and design, create, and execute manual test cases using the AI-powered workflow plugin.
• Evaluate which test cases to automate and maintain automated tests.
• Log defects and report results in Azure DevOps.
• Provide input for planning and implementation of test automation projects.
• Design and implement scalable, maintainable test automation scripts (AI-assisted).
• Act as the go-to expert on Selenium/Playwright-based test automation in C#.

As a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer, you will have broad leeway to analyze problems, propose and implement solutions, and bring new ideas to life. You will participate in all activities pertaining to the analysis, design, development and ongoing maintenance of an in‑house Selenium-based framework of automated tests. Automated testing is used to validate our client’s proprietary software applications used by bothour clientand our customers. You will work closely with other testers, developers, and subject matter experts to prepare and automate test plans, track automation result data, while aligning results with executive strategy.
We are seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer who will serve as a technical leader and subject matter expert in test automation, with deep experience in Selenium, Playwright and C#, and strong SQL/database skills. This role does not involve people management, but we are looking for someone who can mentor others, lead technically, and independently drive automation strategy and execution.
A strong testing mindset with solid knowledge of software testing processes and manual testing practices is required. Experience using AI tools to support test automation, test design, and related testing activities is highly desirable.

Requirements

Required:
