Job summary

GlobalLogic is seeking a Lead Software Quality Engineer to drive automation across mobile, web, and API testing. You will lead test design, collaborate in Agile teams, and ensure quality in a highly regulated enterprise environment.

You will design and maintain scalable automation frameworks, integrate tests into GitLab CI/CD, and mentor peers while promoting best practices and test governance across projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in mobile, web, and API automation testing.
• Design and maintain scalable automation frameworks.
• Experience integrating automated tests into GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to AI tooling (Copilot or TrueTest) for test creation and automation.
• Experience in Agile development within a regulated enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead software quality engineering for enterprise products in regulated environments.
• Lead test design and contribute to software quality within Agile processes.
• Review requirements to define test strategy and test scope.
• Design, code, verify, test, document, amend, and refactor automation scripts.
• Set direction for parallel test development and methodologies.
• Troubleshoot test failures with developers and DBAs using SQL/log analysis.
• Report results and risks to stakeholders.
• Peer review test cases and mentor team members.
• Support adoption of quality tools, policies, and standards.
