Job summary

Siena AI is seeking a fearless engineer to own hard problems in production for our AI agent platform. You will trace issues end-to-end, reproduce them, and work with the team to build automation so they don't recur.

You will debug agents and prompts, diagnose misfires across prompts, knowledge bases, configs, or models, and ship runbooks to prevent recurrence. This role offers remote work with async collaboration and clear growth paths.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to diagnose and fix complex production issues end-to-end.
• Experience with AI agents, prompts, and LLM workflows.
• Strong customer communication and problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own hard problems end to end: trace, reproduce, fix, or engineer a clean reproduction.
• Debug the agents and prompts across prompts, knowledge bases, and models.
• Ship runbooks or tools to prevent recurrence of issues.
• Close the loop to Product with patterns backed by metrics.
• Raise the team's floor by sharing learnings and improvements.
• Escalate genuine product bugs with a clean reproduction when needed.
• Within 90 days, identify top recurring failures and address root causes.
