J.P. Morgan is seeking a Senior Lead Software Engineer, AI Engineering, to be a hands-on contributor responsible for designing and building agent systems. You will lead one or more squads, work with enterprise tools, and ensure correctness, safety, cost, and business impact of the agents you build.

You will pair with engineers, review PRs, mentor the squad, and own SRE aspects like SLOs, on-call, and instrumentation. Strong emphasis on MCP, governance, and scalable backend patterns.

Formación

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with production systems.
• Hands-on Python and at least one other modern language (TypeScript/Java/Go).
• Experience with agentic stacks, MCP, RAG, evaluation harnesses, and guardrails.

Responsabilidades

• Own end-to-end design of production agents.
• Build and maintain the evaluation harness.
• Mentor squad and contribute to architecture reviews.
• Partner with security, privacy, and model risk to enforce guardrails.
