BairesDev is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to design and build agentic workflows and AI-powered products for enterprise customers in higher education. You will lead development of agent orchestration patterns, tool usage, and memory management, while ensuring reliable production systems and strong security, observability, and governance.

Formación

• 5+ years of software product development experience.
• Strong proficiency with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with relational databases.
• Hands-on building AI agents, tool-using LLM apps, or orchestrated workflows.
• Experience using agents to support coding, reviews, testing, releases, or incident response.
• Senior-level experience building and operating production software systems.
• Experience with TypeScript, Python, RESTful APIs, and AWS.
• Experience with APIs, workflow engines, event-driven architectures, integrations, or distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of testing, observability, security, permissions, and failure recovery.
• Ability to turn ambiguous opportunities into practical, reliable technical solutions.
• Strong communication and influence engineering practices across teams.
• Experience building enterprise SaaS or multi-tenant systems.
• Leadership mindset and ability to drive changes across different teams.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build agentic workflows coordinating tools, services, data, and human approvals.
• Develop reusable patterns for agent orchestration, tool use, memory, and multi-agent collaboration.
• Use agentic coding tools across planning, implementation, testing, debugging, and documentation.
• Integrate agents into development, testing, deployment, support, and operations.
• Set standards for agent evaluation, observability, security, and governance.
• Prototype new agentic capabilities and scale successful experiments to production.
• Deliver complete products, not just demos or isolated integrations.
• Identify opportunities to boost engineering productivity and delivery through agentic development.
• Mentor engineers and shape an agentic-first technical strategy.
• Collaborate with leaders to connect agentic capabilities to outcomes.
• Demonstrate AI coding agents as productive engineering partners within codebases.
• Provide agents with context, constraints, and architectural direction.
• Review, test, secure, and improve agent-generated code.
• Decompose complex work into agent-ready tasks while preserving architecture.
• Create workflows where agents reason, choose tools, call APIs, manage state, recover, escalate.
